VSM Moves Up in the Webometrics Ranking

VSM has again achieved it! We are proud to announce that VSM has ranked 246 in the World Ranking Web of Business Schools – Webometrics, which places us within the top 100 in Europe (rank 97th). Again we have ranked first among the Slovakia business schools, leaving behind both the Faculty of Management Comenius University, or the University of Economics, which ranked 496 places behind VSM. Overall , we have moved up the ladder from 299th world rank in 2012 to the

The "Ranking Web of World Bussiness Schools" is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain. The Cybermetrics Lab, part of the CCHS - CSIC, is devoted to the quantitative analysis of the Internet and Web contents specially those related to the processes of generation and scholarly communication of scientific knowledge. This is a new emerging discipline that has been called Cybermetrics (our team developed and publishes the free electronic journal Cybermetrics since 1997) or Webometrics.
