VSM in "Ranking Web of World Business Schools"

It is my pleasure to inform you that School of Management has ranked 299 in the prestigeous "Ranking Web of World Business Schools"  (webometrics, 2012) . Rank 1 belongs to Copenhagen Business School, ahead of the Harvard Business School (rank 2).

It is also worth mentioning that VSM has ranked first (!) among all Slovak business schools, ahead of the Faculty of Management, Comenius University and the University of Economics, Faculty of Business Management. (webometrics, 2012). In Czech and Slovak republics combined, VSM ranks 3rd!

The "Ranking Web of World Bussiness Schools" is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain. The Cybermetrics Lab, part of the CCHS - CSIC, is devoted to the quantitative analysis of the Internet and Web contents specially those related to the processes of generation and scholarly communication of scientific knowledge. The Cybermetrics Lab using quantitative methods has designed and applied indicators that allow us to measure the scientific activity on the Web. The cybermetric indicators are useful to evaluate science and technology and they are the perfect complement to the results obtained with bibliometric methods in scientometric studies.
